Happy Friday, I’m at Frieze this week, which is always fascinating. It find at least half the work baffling. Some of the pieces make me feel like a philistine - how is this considered art?!

My links this week have an abstract theme. As I believe so deeply in adding meaningful artwork to your life, some people assume I don’t like abstract work.

A different sort of reveal this week. One of my favourite artists, X-Ray Maestro Nick Veasey, will have some of his work showcased in the new V&A East Museum.

I hope you had a good summer. Mine was a disaster – if you have 3 unplanned hospital visits in 3 months, that’s a bad sign! They say things happen in 3s… so maybe I’m now invincible!

My big news this week - I’ve just been commissioned to create a public memorial. Although I can’t share details yet, it’s a huge honour. I will share the piece here in a couple months.
