Born in 1994, Uriel Caspi holds a BFA in Ceramics from the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem and an MFA from Alfred University, New York, where his thesis installation was exhibited at the Robert C. Turner Gallery.
Working across large-scale sculptural installation, he merges ancient ceramic techniques, including the traditional Jarre-a-la-corde rope-coiling method, with digital fabrication, finishing works in iridescent Arabian luster glaze formulated with precious earth metals. His exhibitions span the Armory Show with Yossi Milo Gallery in New York, the Faenza International Ceramics Museum, Collect Art Fair London 2025, the Westerwald Ceramics Museum in Germany, the Gyeonggi Museum in Seoul, and the Yingge Ceramics Museum in Taipei. Honours include the Hecht Award for Emerging Artist, the Artis Grant, and the McKnight Fellowship. His work was featured on the cover of Ceramic Review in 2025. He is based in the Netherlands.
