His practice is rooted in figurative painting that evokes the atmosphere of the 1920s without reproducing it: musicians in well-cut suits, spare and dramatic street scenes, a palette that carries warmth and cinematic shadow in equal measure. After graduating, he built an early following through unconventional one-night exhibitions in the South Beach club scene, attracting collectors before the gallery world had formed a view. His work has since been shown and collected across Atlanta, Nashville, Miami, New York, and Los Angeles. He is based in Los Angeles.
