Georgie Mason combines sand, mud and foliage with pigment, she conjures the raw material of nature into refinement and grace.
Her multidisciplinary practice works with organic matter and natural materials to explore nature’s processes, memory and the unconscious.
Her works have been shown internationally (including at the Royal Academy in London and the Museum of Goa, India) and she leads creative workshops around material-play and ecology, situating her art firmly in the ecological-material discourse.
