Born in 1978, Pam Glew trained in Art and Design at Falmouth University College before completing a BA in Theatre Design at Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama in 2000.
Her practice is built around a distinctive material process: working on fabric, flags, and bleached canvases, she builds mixed media paintings that carry a weathered, charged quality distinct from conventional painted surfaces. Solo exhibitions span London, Paris, Sydney, and York, with institutional appearances at Dallas Contemporary and the Honolulu Museum of Art. Commissions include work for Ralph Lauren, Armani, MTV, and Microsoft, and her work is held at Saatchi and Saatchi London and Mitsubishi Bank. She is co-curator of Paxton and Glew Gallery in Brighton's Lanes, and is based in Brighton.
