John O’Carroll

John is evoking the beauty of earth, water and air with bronze and pigment. The resulting finished are both luminous and minimalist, capturing something of the vast, unpeopled spaces that have shaped his eye during a lifetime of travel.

John is also a renowned egyptologist, having appeared as a consultant on BBC documentary series including Treasures of Ancient Egypt and Ancient Worlds.

Born in Cornwall in 1958 and educated at Cornwall College of Art, he exhibited internationally, in the Oasis exhibition at the Rijksmuseum, in the Anthropocene exhibition at the Eden Project in Cornwall, and in several prestigious collections, including Akzo Nobel, Accenture, AMC, Loyens & Loeff and the British Embassy.
