Since 1976, Jessica has carried the baton of Britain’s most joyous artist. Between dozens press articles and appearances on the BBC, she’s captured a certain fame for brightening a room with her radiant energy.
She began her career as a theatre designer for the National Theatre – building and painting sets. This was a huge influence on her, as she developed her style, the ways she could influence the mood of a production.
Now she applies that skill to the lives of her collectors. Each piece is created with layers and layers of paint, spread with a brush, then played with a palette knife, then repeated. As each layer takes weeks to dry, each piece takes months to produce.
Jessica trained at Central St Martins, she has exhibited internationally and now splits her time between homes in England and Asia.
