Working in oil, he builds flat planes of colour held in place by a graphic designer's precision: the surrealism is not disorienting but deliberate, closer to Magritte than to chaos, where strangeness lives in the arrangement rather than the brushwork. He has coined the term Receptualism to describe his approach, a method that prioritises the viewer's perception and emotional response over conventional pictorial illusion.
