Description

Largely self-taught, Leonor Fini honed her technique through the Old Masters and the Italian Mannerists, developing a distinctive style of elongated, erotically charged figures. She created award-winning set designs, costumes, and posters for institutions including the Paris Opera and the Metropolitan Opera Association, with productions spanning Balanchine, Fellini, and beyond.
