At McKay Williamson, philanthropy isn’t an afterthought—it’s embedded in what we do. We created Art Gives to facilitate meaningful contributions to high-calibre charity events.
This portal allows Charities to register a fund-raising event and receive suggestions of art donations to help raise money.
How does it work?
We vet the donations that are offered, and only recommend reputable Art that could help the charity reach its fund-raising goals. There can be a reserve to cover costs, but we appraise the art and won’t recommend work unless it has genuine potential value as a fund-raiser.
We also vet the charity events. We’ve been doing this for many years – we’ve been involved with over 1000 events, and we know what works.
Once your event is accepted, we review the database and propose ideas to review. When the auction takes place, we’ll inform the donor, and arrange collection, delivery and payment of any reserve.
Shipping is always paid by the charity donation.
